The face is covered with hundreds of shimmering Amethyst crystals, ranging from soft lavender to deeper smoky purple tones. The dense crystal surface catches the light beautifully, while the surrounding natural matrix adds earthy cream, golden and grey tones.

What really sets this specimen apart is the Calcite growing directly on the Amethyst formation. The contrasting crystal habit and colouring create an unusual focal point and make this much more interesting than a typical Amethyst cluster.
